‘ Dont take people for granted. No matter how much they love you, people get tired eventually.’
Remember everyone likes to be thought about and appreciated for what they do.Remember the magic word -Thank You-.A smile and a hug to show you care.
Hi mums,
This section is for you.Simple things to remember and not take things for granted.Remember time waits for no one.We become so busy with our lives that there is really no time to think.Sometimes we work just like zombies, without thinking we just continue to work. Its really a good idea to just sit for a short while each day and just be there for yourself. What i am going to do is just write simple quotes i have read.May be you can use them to explain to your kids when you want them to do something.
‘If you dont go after what you want, you will never have it.If you dont ask, the answer is always no.If you dont step forward,You”re always in the same place.’
Nora Roberts
Isnt that a fact. Our aim should be to try always-try- something will always come out of it.
Remember try ,try and you will succeed.Never say no.
You just have to ask and move forward.Dont wait for things to come to you.You have to make the effort.
The Joy of Giving week was launched in the year 2009.It is now celebrated every year from Gandhi Jayanti i.e 2nd october to 8th october .Indians from all over doing different kind of work get together to celebrate ‘giving.’ It is now called Daan Utsav. This week engages people through”acts of giving”.-it could be money, time, resourses and skills-spanning the big companies ,NGO and government sectors, schools ,colleges, and the general public.A simple aim of Daan Utsav could be to rally public support to bring about change. The contribution could be acts of kindness, contribution of time, money, clothes, toys, books.Just anything one wants to give to reach out to the less privileged.
I will put up some pictures for the joy of giving week:-

Hi kids, Do you know how many seasons we have. That’s right-5-Winter,Spring,Monsoon,summer and autumn. Each season has something special and thats what our magical world is all about. From June to September we have the monsoon or the rainy season in India. We cant live without water. Our body has 75% water. The earth is covered 3/4 with water. We need water to drink ,to wash to clean.Plants need water to grow Everything around us needs water. Water cycle Our magical world
We take water for granted. You know kids in many remote villages people have to travel many kilometers to collect water. With our careless attitude we cut trees to build houses, there is so much of industrial pollution that we are causing global warming. Our glaciers are melting fast.We are destroying our wonderful world. Almost every year the monsoon gets delayed and we face water shortage, but still we waste water. We take every thing we have for granted. We all can try to save water in our own small ways.
Here is an interesting clipping from Times of India
Kids make your mum read this to you and ask her to explain.I am sure we can all do our little bit and save water.- Save our world
