You can make a lot of things using all kinds of material -ice cream sticks ,

straws,paper plates…..you can paint do collage work stick any material in orange white and green.I will put up a few pictures  i am sure you must have made many more exiciti

things in school.But first a little information-

Our India flag is called the tiranga:-

Orange stands for courage ad truth.

White stands for peace and truth.

Green stands for faith and chivalry.

REBUBLIC DAY

A very special day for India.This is the day when the constitution of India

was implemented. It mentions the rights and duties of every Indian.

The Republic Day of India-15 August.It is a public holiday and the Indian flag is hoisted

and the national anthem sung.

HOW TO MAKE A KITE

Things needed:1.  paper

2. paints and things to decorate-

3. glue and string

4. scissors ,pencil ,ruler

Method :         Draw a kite any shape you like.Paint on it, you can stick and

do collage work.Stick and decorate the string.Hang it it your room or near the

window.

Have fun with your friends.You can draw your favourite characters for the kite.

Remember to use old cards and paper to decorate.You can paint and use sparkle glue.

MY PEARLS OF WISDOM

Hello kids,

I am writing almost after 3 months.The last time we shared things was

in December.I have been wanting to write for sometime but somehow just

did’nt get down to it.Now here is something to think about and that is

“TIME AND TIDE WAIT FOR NO MAN”.The tide comes in every twelve hours.

There is nothing that can stop it.The time too just clicks away minute by

minute.We just can’t ask time to stop.What is important is to do or complete

whatever comes in your mind.Don’t put away things for another time.

Remember,if you postpone doing something you may just feel sorry why you

did not do what you wanted to do -maybe it becomes too late .

As you grow up you will learn about the famous sufi poet Kabri- he wrote many

dohas-couplets(a couplet means a 2 line poem).One of them i will write –

“Kal kare so aaj kar,                       kabir

Aaj kare so ab,                                     Sant Kabir

Pal main parley hoyegi,

Bahuri karega kab?”

To explain very simply-You should complete your work now instead of delaying-

You may not get another chance .

Remember time cannot stop.Never wait for tomorrow.

These last 3 months we have had quite a few festivals.I will just put up a few

Makar sankranti-the kite flying festival.It is a harvest festival celebrated

in almost all parts of india.In the south as pongal and in punjab as maghi.Many

melas or fairs are held on this day.The most famous is the kumbh mela held

every 12 years.

MAKE CHRISTMAS MAGICAL.

December is the last month of the year.Do you know how many months

in a year?Thats right 12 months.The year is full of exiciting days and events.

Its for us to make them happy ones ,doing things to remember not only

by ourselves but also by others.We need to care and share with the less

fortunate, have gratitude and learn to be happy and thankful(satisfied)

for all we have.Christmas is a festival of joy and happiness.Read below:-

just before your Christmas vacation.Now you must back in school getting

ready for your final exams.
